Another win: Supreme Court okays Trump travel ban

Another win: Supreme Court okays Trump travel ban
This year has seen unprecedented — and unconstitutional — meddling in the decisions of a sitting president. Despite it all, President Trump has been able to sidestep and undermine much of this interference simply by enforcing current law. As a result, illegal immigration is down, the asylum program, which had become little more than an alternative form of immigration, is slowing as authorities check for attempted fraud, and refugee resettlement levels are lower because of Trump’s reduced annual caps. Meanwhile, President Trump patiently took the constitutional route of appealing the travel ban injunctions to the Supreme Court, confident that the justices would rule in his favor.

Yesterday, in a 7-to-2 decision, the Supreme Court did just that, allowing Presidential Proclamation 9645, the third iteration of President Trump’s travel ban, to come fully into effect pending two legal challenges expected to be heard soon in the oft-overturned Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Pro-terrorist open-borders socialist Luis Gutierrez abruptly schedules retirement

Pro-terrorist open-borders socialist Luis Gutierrez abruptly schedules retirement
One of the most ardent and effective open-borders advocates, Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.), announced Tuesday that he will not seek reelection next year. At the same time he made it clear he wants another Chicago radical, Cook County Commissioner Jesus “Chuy” Garcia, to succeed him as congressman from the 4th congressional district in the Land of Lincoln.

Gutierrez’s departure is welcome news for those of us who know his history, because in addition to his open-borders advocacy, Gutierrez is one of the most ardent, extreme leftists in Congress.

On the leftist echo chamber known as MSNBC hours after his surprise announcement, the 13-term congressman who has devoted his life to fundamentally transforming America, claimed he just suddenly out of the clear blue sky decided 1) he wanted to spend more time with his family 2) he wanted to focus on rebuilding Puerto Rico, which he called his “ancestral home,” and 3) he wanted to politically organize the immigrant community, by which he probably means the illegal alien community.

Team Jihad: How Sharia-Supremacists Collaborate with Leftists to Destroy the United States
We are at a tipping point in our society. Either we fight to survive or surrender to the forces of anarchy and despotism. The Left has gone to the mats to obstruct the Trump administration in collusion with Islamic supremacists in an unholy alliance we call the Red-Green Axis. If they win, it spells the end for democratic elections and likely, the end for our nation.

The shocking extent of this collusion has been thoroughly documented in a recent monograph by veteran researcher and analyst Matthew Vadum, Team Jihad: How Sharia-Supremacists Collaborate with Leftists to Destroy the United States. This short book published by the Center for Security Policy collates much of the interaction between these two virulently anti-American groups and describes the strategies they use to advance their radical agendas while intimidating concerned Americans into silence. (CBN News profiled the book here.)

Moore and the yearbook

Moore and the yearbook

Many women have now come forward with allegations that Roy Moore harassed, fondled, or otherwise solicited them, the two most serious coming from women who claimed they were 14 and 16 at the time. Moore has consistently denied wrongdoing. His claims have been supported by other Alabamans who have known him for years.

So where does the truth lie?

Nationalism isn’t fascism

Nationalism isn’t fascism
American leftists are apparently not the only experts in the perversion of language for political ends.

Al Jazeera recently posted an article titled “Why 60,000 people joined a nationalist march in Poland.” Posted under “news” in the “far right” category – which in and of itself presumes bias – the article attempts to equate concepts like nationalism and border protection with fascism. It further tries to discredit the marchers’ message because they cheered God. The entire article was a study in the masterful use of propaganda to undermine the marchers’ strong message of independence and defiance. But the marchers mostly got it right.

CAIR shutting down free speech

CAIR shutting down free speech, Red Green Axis
We are at a tipping point in our society.

Either we fight to survive or surrender to the forces of anarchy and despotism. In collusion with Islamic supremacists, the Left has gone to the mats to bring down our nation in an unholy alliance we call the Red-Green Axis. If they win, it spells the end for our republic. And while we have gotten something of a break from their destructive designs with the election of Donald Trump as president, they are doing everything possible to keep America in the dark and intimidate us into silence.

EPA’s Pruitt abolishes ‘sue and settle’

Oct 21, 2017 — James Simpson

Scott Pruitt

On Monday, Scott Pruitt, Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency administrator, announced a major change in the way the EPA will be doing business in the future. The agency will no longer pursue what has come to be known as “sue and settle,” whereby environmental groups sue the agency to take a desired action and the agency responds by settling the suit under terms favorable to the group. This change will restore agency rulemaking to its proper function, and deny the Left a major weapon in emplacing extreme, damaging regulations in federal agencies with no input or oversight from affected parties.

Pruitt announced:

Chief of Staff Kelly brings unprecedented silence to White House press briefing

Oct 20, 2017 — James Simpson

You could hear a pin drop during White House Chief-of-Staff John Kelly’s press briefing today. Instead of the usual short statement followed by questions and answers, Kelly spent most of the 20 minute conference explaining the process that follows the death of a uniformed service member. Included were Kelly’s emotional description of condolences received from son Robert’s squad members following his combat death in Afghanistan. But Kelly took special time to denounce the actions and comments of Florida Democratic Congresswoman Frederica Wilson.

GOP Congress fails us in ways you can’t even imagine

Oct 20, 2017 — James Simpson

As if we didn’t have enough problems! National security expert J. Michael Waller has pointed out how the GOP helps promote the international Left’s agenda in Congress either through ignorance or malevolence. I am not sure which it is or even which is worse. The result is the same. The Left moves its agenda forward and those we voted for—to stop the Left—play right along, while we hapless victims stare impotently from the sidelines.

House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA) and ranking member Eliot Engel (D-NY), sent a joint letter dated October 16, to Secretary of State Rex Tillerson regarding Guatemala. In it they urge the administration to enforce the Global Magnitsky Human Rights Accountability Act, (P.L. 114-328, title XII, subtitle F), which allows the administration to enforce visa bans and other restrictions on influential Guatemalans known to be committing or facilitating acts of corruption. The letter also asks the administration to withhold FY 2017 assistance to the Guatemalan government until improvements are made.

Big time Democrat hypocrisy on display AGAIN!

Oct 19, 2017 — James Simpson

Only the Democrats could get away with this. And only the Democrats would try. Because only the Democrats can rely on an utterly corrupt, complicit media to cover for them. Current Virginia Lieutenant Governor and Virginia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Ralph Northam recently removed a photo of Justin Fairfax, his black running mate, and all reference to him, in brochures handed out in Northern Virginia.

According to Erick Erickson of The Resurgent, this was done because Fairfax opposes the Atlantic Coast Pipeline, a project favored by the Laborers’ International Union of North America. Given that Democrats would literally have to fold without union support, this guy has done the unthinkable to make them happy.

George Soros’ Open Society Foundations just became the second largest in the U.S.

Oct 18, 2017 — James Simpson

The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday that George Soros has donated $18 billion of his personal wealth to his Open Society Foundations. This move will make OSF the second largest in the nation, only exceeded by the foundation formed by Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates. Soros has already made a name for himself in the non-profit world by supporting and sometimes creating practically every left-wing organization in the nation. We can only imagine what evil this portends for our future.

Foundation investment committee member Bill Ford said, “It’s an ongoing process of migration from a hedge fund toward a pool of capital deployed to support a foundation over the long term.”

NFL: Blame the media for enflaming tensions

Oct 17, 2017 — James Simpson

Incongruously, the media has been more focused these days on the NFL/national anthem flap than the most deadly shooting in U.S. history that occurred a mere two weeks ago in Las Vegas, Nevada. That by itself should say something. The media has been curiously incurious to dig too deeply into the past of Nevada shooter Stephen Paddock. What are they afraid they will find, another James Hodgkinson?

But the NFL controversy would not exist if the grandstanding Colin Kaepernick had not decided to lend his name to the Black Lives Matter movement by sitting down for the national anthem. And that wouldn’t have happened if a bunch of St. Louis (now Los Angeles) Rams had not made a “hands up, don’t shoot” gesture at a football game shortly after the acquittal of the police officer who shot Michael Brown in self-defense. And that wouldn’t have happened if the media hadn’t promoted the notion that Brown, Freddie Gray , and Trayvon Martin were simply innocent victims, instead of the criminals they were.

Refugee resettlement putting America at risk

Oct 17, 2017 — James Simpson

Maryland’s diminutive and unassuming private citizen, Ann Corcoran, has been writing about refugee resettlement on her now-famous blog, Refugee Resettlement Watch, since 2007. Without her work it is highly doubtful we would know nearly as much about this dangerous and wildly out-of-control program. To know her, listen to her, watch her on TV, she reminds you of a kindly grandmother, (which she is), quietly but assertively lecturing us to eat our porridge. You could never imagine the ire she has aroused among the radical Left and their allies in the refugee resettlement industry.

But she has.

Nancy Pelosi meets her base

Sep 21, 2017 — James Simpson

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was confronted by an angry mob of protesters at a town hall-type event on Monday. Along with Reps. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) and Jared Huffman (D-Calif.), she organized the public meeting to promote the DREAM Act, the long-stalled proposed legislation grants generous benefits to illegal aliens. They were suddenly confronted with dozens of loud, well-organized protesters apparently angry that she had dared to negotiate with President Trump about the future of Obama’s illegal executive amnesty, the DREAM Act, and border security issues.

Mainstream political polls commit fraud

Sep 20, 2017 — James Simpson

The credibility of mainstream political polls took a serious hit following the 2016 election. Most predicted an easy victory for Hillary Clinton. The entire political class believed she was a shoo-in, and that the election would be a mere formality. But the polls and the pundits were wrong, glaringly so.

It appears they are wrong again, because they persist in making the same mistakes they have been making for years.

Most pollsters and pundits report that President Trump’s approval ratings are in the tank — consistently in the mid- to upper-30 percent range. His disapproval rates average a whopping 57 percent, according to the polls cited below.

The following table reveals why.

Can’t we talk? No, we can’t

Sep 10, 2017 — James Simpson

There is a new film out by Pamela Geller, Can’t We Talk About This? Those were the last words spoken by Theo Van Gogh as he was being murdered at 9 in the morning on a main thoroughfare in Amsterdam. I urge you to watch and support this film.

Van Gogh was a good friend of Pam’s. He had just completed a short film with Ayaan Hirsi Ali, titled Submission. It describes the treatment of women under Islam. Mohammed Bouyeri, a Moroccan-Dutch Muslim, took offense at the film and shot Van Gogh as he was riding to work on his bike. Bouyeri then stabbed Van Gogh, cutting his neck in an attempt to behead him. He used a second knife to pin a note on Van Gogh’s body.

Trump’s DACA announcement is a prescription for disaster

Sep 9, 2017 — James Simpson

On Tuesday the Trump administration announced it was ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program — sort of.

Appropriately, the announcement was made by the federal government’s chief law enforcement officer, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who stated:

Hiding in plain sight: New Hampshire mosque preaches terrorism

Sep 7, 2017 — James Simpson

A concerned New Englander recently arranged for the assessment of the Islamic Society of New Hampshire’s (ISoNH) mosque in Manchester in that state. He had noticed a disproportionate number of military-age males visiting the mosque and heard from many local women who said they were frightened by the attitudes some of these men expressed toward them. The results of the man’s research were more frightening.

P. David Gaubatz, co-author of Muslim Mafia, was hired to assess this mosque. He is a former Air Force Office of Special Investigations (OSI) federal agent who specialized in Islamic counter-intelligence and counter-terrorism. According to his book, he worked and lived in the Middle East for decades and was the first civilian federal agent in Iraq at the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom (March 2003). That year he led a 15-man team to extract family members of the Iraqi lawyer who helped save Army Private First Class Jessica Lynch. He has investigated over 280 mosques in the U.S. alone and uses a rating system developed by a former Islamist, Tafik Hamid.

BOMBTHROWERS EXCLUSIVE: National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster: A legend or a lie?

Aug 30, 2017 — James Simpson

(language warning) (CORRECTION as to casualty count appears near the bottom of this article)

Fresh on the heels of a successful offensive in Mosul, Iraq, the Iraqi military is now poised to retake Tal Afar, long a hotbed of ISIS and other insurgent activity. Before we pulled out of Iraq, Tal Afar, like Fallujah, had been the focal point of multiple large-scale, costly offensives to eject entrenched insurgents. In 2005, then-Colonel H.R. McMaster led the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment (3rd ACR) in the largest of these offensives, Operation Restoring Rights. His reputation as a brilliant military strategist rests largely on the results of that one battle. Given the widespread support for McMaster in the media and Washington establishment, it is ironic that current reporting largely fails to mention this battle or McMaster’s central role in it.

Make it official: Antifa is a movement of domestic terrorists

Aug 30, 2017 — James Simpson

Some wise soul has created a White House petition to designate antifa a terrorist organization. As of this writing, 314,725 people, including this author, have signed. With the exception of perhaps the Muslim Brotherhood and whatever ISIS/al-Qaeda cells in operation in the U.S., there are few, if any, domestic groups more deserving of that title.

The petition says:

Terrorism is defined as “the use of violence and intimidation in pursuit of political aims”. This definition is the same definition used to declare ISIS and other groups, as terrorist organizations. AntiFa has earned this title due to its violent actions in multiple cities and their influence in the killings of multiple police officers throughout the United States. It is time for the pentagon to be consistent in its actions – and just as they rightfully declared ISIS a terror group, they must declare AntiFa a terror group – on the grounds of principle, integrity, morality, and safety.
