The Coming National Crisis

The Coming National CrisisWith the 2020 election only months away, it is reasonable to wonder whether the election could spark widespread violence nationwide. With a probable hung election and accusations flying left and right, we may be approaching the time in 1860 when the election became a choice of whether a divided country could stay united. This election could trigger full-scale violence beyond anything we have seen so far. No, this won’t be just another election. It may be our Fort Sumter. Both left and right detest each other, and with no resolution in sight, things could get ugly. With China on the march, COVID in the air, and racial unrest in the streets, the mix could not be worse and may finally boil over. What has been a cold civil war up until now could very well go hot.

The Second Cold War Has Begun

The Second Cold War Has BegunThe People's Republic of China hides its motives in a cloak of mystery.  However, their contempt and disregard of others in the Coronavirus pandemic has now torn away the shroud and made their ugly intentions clear.  China has signaled its defiance to the international order and its willingness to overturn it.  They are implementing a strategy to supplant the United States as the world's dominant power, and to do so by 2049, the 100th anniversary of the PRC.

Christianity is under siege in America

Christianity is under siege in AmericaIn this great country, it's not a crime to be a Christian — at least not yet.  But the left is working on it.  Free expression of religion is not just shunned.  It is ridiculed and mocked.  Anti-Christian bigotry is the only form of acceptable intolerance remaining in this country — to be encouraged and incited by our "tolerant" liberal friends in academia, the media, and entertainment.

The Rising China Threat

The Rising China ThreatChina's meteoric rise from an impoverished country to a global superpower ranks as one of history's most remarkable political and economic achievements.  It would be a mistake to think U.S. and Chinese interests are the same, however.

Is a Second Civil War Coming?

Is a Second Civil War Coming?Civil wars are horrendous and bloody affairs. That's why we should avoid them.  They happen when two sides cannot settle on who runs the country.  When they can't reconcile the matter through elections, the country falls apart.  When one side does not accept the election results, we have a countdown to a civil war.

Waiting for a Leader to Emerge

Deep into a second term, Barack Obama is determined to double down on his failed agenda. Virtually everything he says is designed to mislead, undercut, and harm the fabric of our nation. The public is slowly coming to realize the reality behind his rhetoric, and is not liking what they see. They are tired of being lied to, and they want the truth. A turn in public mood is at hand. They are awaiting a leader to emerge whom they can believe in.

Emerging Consensus that LBJ Killed JFK?

More than a thousand of books have been written on the John F. Kennedy assassination, yet there remains much controversy as to what happened that day in Dallas. To the casual observer, the Warren Commission's narrative of three shots in six seconds by a lone gunman may appear to be plausible. Search a bit below the surface, however, and you find many inconsistencies that call into question the entire story.

Why America is Exceptional

The United States is the most dynamic and powerful nation in world history. No major issue of global peace or stability can be resolved without involvement by the United States. This state of affairs did not occur by accident. It is testimony of the exceptional nature of this land and its people.

Mr. Rubio goes to Washington

Sen. Marco Rubio has many fine qualities. He is a genuinely nice guy. His conservative attitude is genuine, and his gift of expression is exceptional. The enthusiasm he brings to the conservatives and the Republican Party has been wonderful. He holds the right core beliefs, and he has the potential to be the voice for a new generation of conservatives.

Women Have No Business in Combat

The Obama Administration is forcing the military to assign female soldiers into combat infantry roles. In a future engagement, the result is certain to be additional lost lives and possibly failure on the battlefield.

America in Need of Revival

We live in and age of unbelief. We live with America in decline. We are no longer the America of our founders, or even the America that existed twenty years ago. Collectively, we are more secular, with ever-increasing faith in government, and decreasing faith in God. The consequences of which are already showing. The culture must change. We need a spiritual revival. We need a Third Great Awakening.

You Lie, Mr. President!

Vladimir Lenin once said, “A lie told often enough becomes the truth.” In the electronic age, the left has hammered this theory home harder than ‘ol Vlad could have ever imagined.

America After Obama

Barack Obama has gone from the "one we've been waiting for" to the one we can't wait to kick out. No one ever thought one man could bring the nation to its knees, but here he is living in the White House. And on our knees we have been praying for the day that he leaves.

Did Hedge Funds Throw the 2008 Election?

Hedge fund traders had a great year in 2008. That year, hedge fund short sellers were instrumental in the spike in fuel prices, the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers, the banking crisis, and the stock market collapse. While extremely wealthy hedge fund traders engineered each of these calamities, and made billions of more dollars short selling each one, the American people collectively lost trillions of dollars in the value of their homes and savings.

The Strategic Debate We Need To Have

The U.S. federal debt is our nation's greatest strategic weakness. As the debt continues to grow, our military posture around the globe is threatened. Defense cuts are coming, and with that reduction must come a reduced mission. In this environment, what our nation's strategic mission should be, and what the corresponding defense funding should be to meet that need, are open questions. They are questions that need to be openly explored by politicians and the American people alike.

A Battle We Cannot Afford to Lose

Patriots since the founding have always risen to the challenges of their time. Today, we must do the same. As the debt crisis deepens, the time is growing short. We must demand our lawmakers speak truthfully about the budget, and offer real solutions.

Could China’s Instability Threaten America?

China’s double-digit economic growth over the past thirty years has been breathtaking. Growth has limits, however, and China may soon be reaching them. With worldwide recession, and inflation coming to the yuan, a slowdown in China’s growth is increasingly probable. If China experiences any let up in growth, the nation’s internal stability becomes a concern. The modern western trait of rising expectations has set in with the populace. By their sheer numbers, any setback in the standard of living could ominously jeopardize the nation’s political and economic structure -- and affect us as well.

Restoring Honor: A New American Awakening?

If anything good can be said about the progressive left controlling our government, it's that their astonishingly brazen and heavy-handed tactics may have aroused the American people into a new spiritual awakening. With basic liberties under assault, we are seeing a revival of values that have been dormant for a long time.
