Cenk Uygur: Trump beats Hillary in November

Is a pattern emerging? Conservative media figures and NeverTrumpers are spreading doom and gloom (fairly convincingly) about Republican prospects in November while notable figures on the left are forecasting a Trump victory. What’s the deal? Hardcore leftist Michael Moore recently said Hillary Clinton has no chance of beating Donald Trump.
Now another hard-left pitbull, Cenk Uygur, host of “The Young Turks,” says much the same thing. On ABC’s “This Week,” Uygur predicted Trump would run away with it in the Electoral College 279 to 259. (The magic number is 270.) Said Uygur:
In his life, he’s had a great track record of failure, bankruptcies, running from Vietnam, everything like that. But he’s a populist candidate when the country’s angry and you run and it’s the most establishment candidate we’ve ever seen against him. It was a terrible idea by the Democrats to support Hillary Clinton.
Host and Clinton supplicant George Stephanopoulos said, “So you’re so hot against him today because you think he’s going to win.”

Uygur replied:
I’m very worried — and if the Democrats are not really, really worried that, in this populist time Donald Trump doesn’t have an excellent chance to win, they’re completely wrong.
Confused? Me too. But Uygur did make a good point on the same TV show. Trump is “a disrupter,” Uygur said. “That’s why he’s winning.”
