Prime Minister Trudeau missed the opening of Parliament this week in order to jet off to New York to go to the U.N. It seems the Little Potato as he was dubbed by the Chinese or Little Pot for short, has a new favourite word to go with the other word he loves, “diversity.” Seems he loves to use the word “anxiety” too. While in New York, Trudeau talked about how some politicians exploit peoples’ fears and anxieties for political gain. This anxiety was not limited to the fear of Syrian refugees who Trudeau and his trained seals cannot seem to get enough. It also applied to fears and anxieties about the economy. Trudeau spoke about the last federal election campaign that he said fueled Islamophobia and other phobias and pandered to “fear and insecurity.” Many viewed Trudeau’s speech as an attack on Donald Trump without mentioning The Donald by name. It is probably what he was doing. But his remarks were aimed at Canada as well.

Like other elites on the left, the prime minister is totally incapable of understanding any viewpoint other than his own

Like other elites on the left, the prime minister is totally incapable of understanding any viewpoint other than his own and those of his supporters fans. Many Canadians he thinks are anxious are not; they are angry but as a good Liberal, he is totally incapable of understanding the way many ordinary Canadians think. As an example, let’s look at the terrorist attacks on 9/11. Were Americans fearful and anxious? Well, there is a percentage of Americans that suffer from anxiety totally unrelated to specific events no matter how horrific. As to the rest of the population, that depends. Obviously those who worked or lived in downtown Manhattan had a good reason to be fearful of another attack. Those living in other large cities such as Chicago had legitimate reasons as well to be anxious that a skyscraper or two in their city could be the next target. But those who resided in Dipshitz, Iowa, not so much. The reaction of Dipshitzians to the terrorist attacks was one of anger and a desire to fight what they recognized as a war with Islamic extremists. But it was too easy for the elites to simply look at this anger and call it anxiety. And so it is with Trudeau. Many of the Canadians he thinks are anxious and afraid because this fear is being stroked by politicians like Trump and Kellie Leitch are not fearful and anxious. They are angry.

Ordinary Canadians are mad that Trudeau who, like his father, could not care less about the economy

Ordinary Canadians are mad that Trudeau who, like his father, could not care less about the economy. In fairness to Pierre, he was capable of understanding economic issues; he just was not interested in fiscal matters. Justin on the other hand does not have a clue. Ordinary Canadians are angry Trudeau is jetting around the world with his princess and kids in tow and increasing Canada’s deficit and debt by giving large amounts of taxpayer money to the U.N. and other countries, many of which are hostile to our way of life instead of spending in Canada to help boost the economy. Ordinary Canadians are mad the Trudeau government wants to bring thousands more of their pet Syrian refugees into the country regardless of the cost. They are mad these refugees are not properly vetted and bringing them to Canada as quickly as possible is more important than properly vetting them. Ordinary Canadians are mad that these refugees are showered with benefits and freebees that are denied not only to Canadian citizens and permanent residents but to the poor, the homeless and other vulnerable Canadians.

Ordinary Canadians are mad Trudeau who, like his beloved papa, hates the military and is doing what he can to decrease Canada’s ability to fight wars that have now been deemed politically incorrect. They are mad as hell the prime minister backed away from bombing raids on Islamic State targets. Ordinary Canadians are mad at Trudeau, the self-described feminist, after he pointed to a bunch of women in a segregated radical mosque and praised this segregation as a shining example of Canada’s diversity. Ordinary Canadians are mad Trudeau wants Canada to become a post-national state and detests whatever true Canadian culture we have left. Justin, a lot of us are not the scaredy cats you think we are. We’re not “anxious.” We’re mad as hell at your lack of concern about Canadian culture, security of Canadians and improving the country’s economy. But it makes you feel fuzzy all over to think anyone who disagrees with you must be anxious.
