Sharon Stone records dumb tribute to Rep. Maxine Waters

-- BombThrowers: Has-been movie star Sharon Stone seems to take special delight in doing things that make her look stupid. She’s actually not stupid at all, but looking like a kooky dolt is her thing nowadays now that she can only get parts in low-rent stinkers like John Turturro’s self-indulgent Fading Gigolo. She’s recorded a spoken-word video tribute to U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) after Bill O’Reilly chided the congresswoman from South Central Los Angeles. Waters happen to be one of the dumbest, most evil, most corrupt members of the U.S. Congress. She blamed the Rodney King riots on Ronald Reagan and tax cuts.

Say It Loud, I’m Black and I’m Proud

According to Truth Revolt, Interspersed with clips of Waters during various appearances, Stone can be heard saying, “Say it loud, she’s strong and we’re proud.” The actress posted the video to Instagram, crediting Shelly Goldstein for the lyrics and giving a nod to James Brown and Alfred Ellis, a saxophonist and Brown’s co-writer on Say It Loud, I’m Black and I’m Proud.
Stone’s stunt comes in the wake of condescending left-wing TV star Tina Fey’s embarrassing vaguely racist meltdown over white women who voted for Trump. During a live fundraising event for the ACLU on Facebook, Fey said:
A lot of this election was turned by white, college-educated women who now would like to forget about this election and go back to watching HGTV. You can’t look away because it doesn’t affect you this minute, but it’s going to affect you eventually. I personally would like to make my own pledge to college-educated white women to not look away, not pretend that things that are happening now won’t eventually affect me if we don’t put a stop to it.
So tedious and nonsensical.
