In America it is now either Fight or Flight

This is Charles Martel coming to you from Florida and bringing down the hammer for the Canada Free Press, because without America there is no freedom.

Our willfully blind, headlong charge into an abyss of nihilism continues unabated. I voted twice for Donald Trump, and I certainly will vote for him a third time, but any notion that one man and control of both houses of Congress for 4 years will be able to heal our gangrenous and #-riddled body politic and rid us or neutralize the Deep State witch doctors that have led us to sorry position, is a view through rose-colored glasses equal to thinking Joe Biden could master fifth year college Latin in the space of a weekend. We are in for a prolonged battle. Arm yourselves and dig in.

I’m in a bilious state of rage today, one exponentially greater than the routine desire for happy murder by which I am customarily accompanied. I had thought to do a podcast on the lawfare levelled at Donald Trump, and I’m still going to delve into it a bit; however, I think juxtaposition of that lawfare with events on too many of our university campuses furnishes a more powerful magnifying glass with which to view the evil mutants whose lust for power smothers all other concerns.

So determined are they to upend and destroy our country as founded, so certain that they can create and fashion a better human and fit that human to the utopic joys of socialism, that the idea of President Kamala Harris is one that affords them pleasure. I’m quite serious. Think about it: If somehow, be it election theft, assassination of Trump, or military coup, Biden maintains his throne, there is no way he lives another 4 years, and that means President Kamala Harris. Say it out loud: President Kamala Harris.

Outrageous? Just a few years ago it would have been; now, not so much. Before continuing, here is a list of items that have obliterated what the overwhelming majority of us thought of as normal even 5 years ago:

  • Our border is open and the Federal government shows no inclination to secure it, going so far as to fly illegal immigrants from overseas into American cities;
  • boys can be girls, and girls can be boys;
  • boys who think they are girls should be able to roam women’s bathrooms and locker rooms and compete against girls in sports; free speech, that is the First Amendment, is being trashed on university campuses and debated in progressive think tanks;
  • Hamas’ jihadist murderers, rapists, and kidnappers are believed the moral equivalent of Israelis;
  • our country as founded is racist;
  • merit is a racist construct; police departments are systematically racist;
  • our government is trying to kill gas cars and gas stoves, and is looking into ways to kill our consumption of meat;
  • one political party is persecuting and prosecuting the opposing party’s presidential candidate with a rain storm of criminal indictments.

That is an arbitrary list, with no thought of being comprehensive. My only point is that 5 years ago none of that would have risen to a level of conversation. Today, in writing about this, it’s an error not to wonder, as I did above, if assassination or military coup my be attempted by the party in power. This is how far from the norm we’ve travelled.

President Kamala Harris. It sounds like a horror story invoked by parents to get little children to behave. “If you don’t brush your teeth and go to bed, Kamala Harris is going to be president.” I don’t know; that may be child abuse. Still, as I’ve just illustrated, nothing is so far beyond the pale that it can be discounted.

This past week a couple of the lawfare cases took center stage. They are all embarrassing and have served to make us a laughing stock around the world. At the Supreme Court, the former president is arguing for immunity for a president while he is in office; Jack Smith, the execrable and poisonous piece of dog vomit hounding the former president is arguing otherwise.

The Supreme Court is trying to split the baby, reasoning, correctly, you don’t want presidents out of office to be hounded by political opponents. For instance, as one of the justices asked, should Obama be indicted for ordering the killing of a terrorist who was a US citizen without a warrant? On the other hand, the office shouldn’t leave its holder immune to flagrant criminal activity. The DOJ argued that it could be trusted to exercise reason, but that notion didn’t gain much traction. Wonder why?

It seems likely the Supremes will send the case back to the lower court, which means no decision before the election, thereby robbing Smith of a conviction and, worse for Smith and Dems, throwing political shade over the entire pursuit, thereby helping Trump.

Meanwhile, in NYC, Alvin Bragg, the dumbest affirmative action turd brain to ever graduate from law school, with the help of Juan Merchan, the judge whose daughter, Loren, worked first for the Harris campaign and then the Biden-Harris campaign – no conflict of interest there -- continues to pursue Trump over the hush money paid to Stormy Daniels. Mind you, this was a case the DOJ, that is Merrick Garland, wouldn’t take up.

Bragg is charging Trump with promoting his own election by getting Stormy Daniels to be quiet. Well, yeah, Donald Trump was promoting his candidacy. The trouble is, that’s not illegal. There is no Federal crime here. The very worst thing that can be construed is not labelling the hush money correctly, which is a misdemeanor, one for which the statute of limitations has expired.

Also in New York, this time New York state, we have AG Letitia James, a woman who gave Bragg a serious run for dumbest affirmative action turd brain to ever graduate from law school, who got a conviction of Trump for inflating assets in applying for a loan. Trump got the loan and paid it back with interest. In other words, there was no harm. In addition to this being business as usual in New York, absolutely routine, the bank involved said it would be happy to do business with Trump again.

Meanwhile, another corrupt judge, Arthur Engoron, assessed Trump financial damages of 350 million dollars, an amount he was compelled to pay or post bond for before he could appeal the case. When no bond company would cover that amount, James gleefully asserted she would seize Trump’s assets. Ultimately, another court found all of this excessive; the amount was halved and Trump found a bond company that would secure 175 million dollars while his appeal went forward.

Then, of course, there is the case of classified documents being removed, an act for which Joe Biden was deemed too senile to be held responsible while still being anointed the Dems right man for the job of CEO of the nation. Mind you, clueless Joe’s actions were undertaken while he was VP, whereas Trump, who had the power to declassify documents with the wave of his hand, was still president.

Lastly, we have Fani Willis, the Fulton County, GA prosecutor who was funnelling dough and taking trips with her gigolo boy toy who she’d put in charge on the public dime of trying the Trump case. The gigolo has been removed and the case is presently hibernating, while Ms Willis finds herself in hot water with her state’s legislature and the Georgia bar.

I spent more time on those than I’d intended. The reason being is that by themselves and in aggregate they are corrupt, frivolous, despicable and fundamentally unserious; however, while I think studying the deep meaning of kitchen window fly specks might prove of greater benefit to humanity, this is where Dems and their media handmaidens insist we spend our time and study.

Now think about that while you ponder what we’ve seen on university campuses over the last week, from Columbia, Yale, and Harvard to UCLA and Berkeley. Even the University of Texas got into the act, but authorities there weren’t having it. Still, juxtapose these two tales, so different, but so related. Students, and in many instances their professors, are on fire over Israel. Their demands run from demanding disinvestment in Israeli companies to declarations that Zionists must die. All of the horrific events of October 7th are either justified or denied.

David Marcus visited an “encampment” at UCLA and reported this, quote,

  • “Most of them say they support Hamas, a designated terrorist group;
  • October 7th didn’t happen, even the NYT’s debunked it; October 7th was justified, it was resistance;
  • 100% of those interviewed had the exact same narrative, trying to recenter the conversation to 1948, without knowing any of the details when challenged;
  • they had their own security and controlled access to their encampment;
  • they were aggressive and angry;
  • when people who were clearly “juniors” were approached, “handlers” showed up to take over;
  • when it becomes apparent that they are ignorant of historical and present facts and are about to embarrass themselves, they say read the 5 demands to divest and they stop talking.”

Marcus concludes it was, quote, “sad to see so many young people…being manipulated and brainwashed and totally devoid of critical thinking.”

Sounds like American higher ed to me.

And all of this, all of it to support Hamas. It should be unbelievable because it’s unthinkable…but it’s not.

It is, however, lunacy deserving of no debate. There is a single appropriate response: Administrators need to send in police with water hoses and dogs; run the brats out and arrest those who attempt any aggression. Afterward, all students arrested should be expelled and foreign students packed up and thrown out.

These are tomorrow’s leaders; this is the edge on which our country is balanced. And faced with this, the miserable BASTARDS that make up and lead the Democratic Party lock arms with simpletons, dancing to screeching compositions rendered on out-of-tune instruments.

And where do you think it’s all going? If you’re too young to remember, then research the Democratic Party’s 1968 convention in Chicago. Prepare yourself for a rinse and repeat. There will be a difference this time, but it will be one without a distinction. This time, a healthy percentage of the Democratic Party is on the side of and even in league with the demonstrators (see George Soros and son); in addition, Joe Biden has to court the Hamas wing of his party, in particular the Muslims in Michigan.

The non-distinction part is that common cause will not prevent the demonstrators from rabid-dog behavior. The last interesting variable to consider is that instead of dealing with Mayor Richard Daley’s police department, the insane and ignorant idiots will have a cowed and diminished police force, one beaten into submission and unable to locate a floor in diving morale. And this is to say nothing about perhaps being unwilling to risk life and limb, career and freedom to protect a herd of sheep that have been stentorian in demonizing police and demanding their forces be defunded. Should make for an interesting crucible. Here’s my prediction: People will be killed in Chicago in violence stemming from rioters confronting conventioneers.

What I’m unwilling to predict is what will occur at the Republican Convention to be held in Milwaukee. In 1968, the bezerkers confined themselves to attacking the left; this time around, that seems unlikely to me. Moreover, Milwaukee is a liberal city, governed by the same sort of progressive morons that cover the landscape of Democratic run cities all over the country. In addition, the state has a liberal loon for a governor. Will authorities protect conservative convention goers?

But let’s say the animals are more or less kept at bay, or at least that the violence is kept to acceptable levels, I mean levels acceptable to the country’s blue cities, admittedly a low bar. What then will happen after the election when, as daily appears more likely, Trump wins? Will it be unbridled looting and rioting, or merely a move to secede by the west coast and northeast states?

This is where we find ourselves while the left’s frivolous dolts engage in silly, stupid fantasies on a par with, if not yet so terrible as, Hitler in his bunker moving around make-believe divisions.

And in way, I suppose I can’t blame them. They are faced with a right they’ve never before witnessed; one in no mood to extend a hand, with no desire for conciliation. We’ve been slapped, kicked, spit on, jailed, impoverished and even murdered. In place of a turned cheek and forgiveness, they find teeth bared in a snarl. Faced with this, delusions and continuing and growing lies are the notes they must continue to play.

But given the depth of the Deep State, the ignorance with which the left is saturated, and the prevailing and swelling rage each side has for the other, how can this be solved in 4 years? Can it be solved at all? And how long will a majority of us want this marriage to continue?

I believe we’ve reached the moment where we can fight or we can split, but those of us on my side of the political divide will no longer brook the oppression of an administrative state; and if that state is determined to keep us yoked, then neither its chief adherents nor their families will know a secure day or a peaceful night.
