UN Secretary General Discusses AI, UN Reform, Dire World State at Press Conference

United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres, whose final term is coming to a close at the end of this year, held a press conference on September 16^th in advance of next week’s High-Level General Assembly session. “At a time when the world faces three existential threats – runaway artificial intelligence, the climate crisis, and the intolerable deepening of inequalities – international cooperation is more necessary than ever,” he told reporters.
