Thought of the Day – Are the blockades, across Canada, based on the involvement of the United Nations which has created discrimination and situations of conflict/anarchy amongst its member states? It would seem - “YES”. When there are two sets of laws, in one Nation, there is discrimination and there is anarchy. 97% of Scientists State Global Warming is Man-made – Perhaps Not?

In 2013 there was a very good paper released by the Global Warming Policy Foundation, written by Andrew Montford. This document completely debunks the statement “that 97% of scientists agree that global warming is real and man-made.” There is also a document from the Fraser Institute “Consensus on Climate Change Stifles Debate Surrounding Public Policy,” by Kyle Sholes, in 2016. Both are very good documents and yet one must realize that these are not the only papers that debunk the rhetoric of the “97%” statement.

Thought of the day – Deferred Prosecution Agreements (DPA) are they even constitutional? Seems they are not…And why would government need to hide the criteria of DPAs in an omnibus bill to amend the Criminal Code of Canada? Also, how far will the Canadian government take them – will they, like the Obama administration, allow for, as some put it, big corps to get away with “murder”?¹

Minimum Wage

Is there any doubt, in anyone's mind, that the increase in minimum wage is to buy votes – Nothing more, nothing less (does gas-plant closures come to mind)? But was there any thought put into Bill 148, "The Fair Workplaces, Better Jobs Act, 2017," that raises the minimum wage, pays part-time workers the same as full time workers, paid sick days for everyone, paid vacation time for everyone, and make employee scheduling fairer? Seriously?!?
