Dispensation of the truth?

Over sixty-two years ago the senate subcommittee, headed by Senator Estes Kefauver, held hearings on organized crime. One after the other, Mafia thugs of Cosa Nostra, in response to questioning pleaded the 5th amendment; "Under advise of counsel, I refuse to answer on the grounds it may incriminate me!"

A personal observation

If Barack Obama is re-elected on the premise he will continue the failures of his first four years, it wouldn't be hard to imagine the mess who ever is elected president in 2016 will inherit.

Liar! Liar! Pants on Fire!

In his inaugural address, Barack Obama rolled out a Trojan horse of promise and hope on an unsuspecting nation, spewing out his gang of lying thugs with Chicago style politics, bringing the country to the brink of disaster.

My Hero

I've often seen products labeled 'Limited Edition' with a celebrity name attached; or a line of clothing, furniture, sporting goods, etc, identified as the celerity's line. The only attachment they have to these products is the money they receive to have their name appear on the manufacturer's label.

Where are the occupiers when you need them?

Six months and counting, before our country begins healing from the economic and social wounds President Obama and his administration inflicted on this nation. Nero fiddled while Rome burned.

Yes or no?

Because the economy is a no win for the Obama administration, the democrats are turning to the hot button of same sex marriage, sending the President's shock absorber, VP Joe Biden, to stir up confusion on this issue so as not to paint Obama in a corner. Is he or is he not for gay marriages?

TSA Patdowns

Shangri-La gone astray

Inheritance is bestowed on somebody of something not solicited, therefore George W. Bush's economy was not an inheritance, but something Barack Husein Obama solicited and he made a mess of it.

Where The Big Bucks Are

Running and getting elected to public office, it's not unusual to sell half your soul to the political machine and the other half to special interest groups that are the goose that lays the golden egg, to outspend the opposition. Seldom does somebody emerge with enough backbone to serve the public and not the manipulators behind the scene.

Screwed, Blued and Tattooed

My heart cries out to our Black community for having their hopes bashed, because they thought they voted for a giant like Martin Luther King, but instead got a little man who can never grow in the Presidential office. It must be humiliating to have their champion disgrace all they have fought for through the years.

Gimme + Greed = Occupy Wall Street

Tom Brokaw spoke of "The Greatest Generation." My comments are broadly directed to what I refer to as the "Selfish Generation," acknowledging exceptions. Prior to both, there was the generation of immigrants who gave root to the above and to whom I can never express my profound gratitude for laying the foundation, making it possible for me and you to be called Americans. Not speaking the language and many with just the clothes on their back, they followed the process of strict rules and law for an orderly, legal entree into this wonderful country.
