NATO Aims To Kill Qaddafi At All Cost

Despite claims by NATO's military command, and President Obama himself, that killing Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi is not part of their military objective in Libya, they have set about to do just that. On April 30th, in what appears to be its most blatant attempt yet to assassinate Qaddafi through air strikes on targets where NATO commanders think he may be working or residing, NATO missed getting Qaddafi and his wife but reportedly killed one of Qaddafi's sons and three grandchildren who were with Qaddafi at the time. All the slain grandchildren were said to be younger than twelve. The slain son happened to be the black sheep of the family, who had played very little part in the current fighting

USA! USA! American Forces Bring Osama Bin Laden To Justice

Hallelujah! Americans gathering outside of the White House last night, shouting “USA! USA!,” were celebrating the news that Osama Bin Laden is dead – brought to justice early Sunday morning for his crimes against humanity by the bullets of U.S. Joint Special Operations Command forces in a mission ordered by President Obama. Upon taking office, President Obama had made the killing or capture of Bin Laden the top priority of our war against al Qaeda. Now we have killed the monster and captured his body.

United Nations Security Council Takes A Powder On Syria

The United Nations Security Council has reverted to its usual modus operandi - inaction. On April 27th, after receiving a detailed report by the UN's Under-Secretary General for Political Affairs, Lynn Pascoe, on the violence unleashed by the Syrian government against its own people, the Council members were unable to agree on a simple press statement calling on the Syrian government to stop its brutality.

What “Hope and Change” Means in Real Life: Obama’s Economic Stagflation

Can you say stagflation? The Jimmy Carter years may be repeating themselves as the Obama economy continues to flounder. U.S. economic growth slowed to a 1.8 percent annual rate in the first quarter of 2011, after a 3.1 percent fourth quarter pace last year. Meanwhile, food and gasoline prices have sent the broad measure of inflation rising at its fastest pace in 2-1/2 years. To make matters worse, more people sought unemployment benefits last week. This was the second increase in applications for unemployment benefits in three weeks.

Obama Justice Department Shields Islamist Allies From Prosecution

The Obama administration invited the president of one of the unindicted co-conspirators in the Hamas terror finance case, United States v. Holy Land Foundation -- the Islamic Society of North America (“ISNA”)- to the White House for a Ramadan dinner banquet two years in a row. Now it is running interference for ISNA and other Islamist allies in a politically sensitive case that career prosecutors at the Department of Justice were thinking of bringing against them.

Paul Krugman Prays That No One Will Figure Out How Frequently He Flip-Flops

Paul Krugman, economist and New York Times op-ed columnist, wrote a column today entitled "Let's Not Be Civil." He loves President Obama's deficit reduction plan, which would essentially raise taxes on the so-called "wealthy," cut Medicare funding for seniors by a half trillion dollars to pay for Obamacare, and rely on unspecified savings.

Step Up U.S. Military Action In Libya And Support The Rebels Whomever They Are

The New York Times is still beating the war drums in Libya. The Times today urged President Obama to renew air attacks on Col. Qaddafi’s ground forces with U.S. A-10 antitank aircraft and AC-130 ground attack gunships. It also recommended arming the rebels and providing them with training.

Barack Obama “Winning The Future” Does Not Even Match Charlie Sheen’s “Winni

President Obama likes to talk about “winning the future.” His version of ”winning” is not even as credible as Charlie Sheen’s. Case in point was Obama’s speech on the deficit yesterday. Obama invoked his “winning the future” mantra yet again, while offering a re-packaged, partisan version of his deeply flawed deficit-reduction plan and resorting to fear-mongering and exploitation of emotions in place of reasoned analysis.

France Enables An Islamist Takeover of The Ivory Coast

Ironically, on the very day that France's law banning the wearing of full-face coverings went into effect, French military forces helped Muslims add another country in Africa to their growing Caliphate - the Ivory Coast. The French, the former colonial rulers in the Ivory Coast, forced the surrender of former president Laurent Gbagbo to forces loyal to president-elect Alassane Ouattara, whom the international community had recognized as the victor in last year's presidential election.

Arab League Pressing United Nations For Gaza No-Fly Zone

Hamas is now deliberately targeting Israeli school children with rocket attacks against clearly marked school buses. They know no shame, yet they continue to play victim, pleading with the international community for protection from Israel’s reprisals.

It took two years, but the Obama administration finally announced that self-professed 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his four alleged co-conspirators will face prosecution by a military tribunal in Guantanamo. Attorney General Eric Holder, appearing as if he had been waterboarded into reversing his prior decision to try them in a federal court in New York, made the announcement yesterday.

“Uncontrollable” Muslim Violence: The Latest Excuse

On March 31, 2011, Pakistan's United Nations ambassador, Abdullah Hussain Haroon, spoke to reporters at UN headquarters on behalf of the 56 member state Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Ambassadorial Group, condemning the recent burning of a copy of the Koran by the pastors of a small Baptist Church in Gainesville, Florida. He highlighted the OIC's “grave concern that the despicable act had severely hurt the feelings of 1.5 billion Muslims around the world" and warned reporters that it could lead to "incidents that are uncontrollable.”
