Stopping the destruction of our heritage

Preserving the national heritage of the United States of America is critical to the survival of our nation as one of people living in liberty in a collection of states united under a federal government, as outlined by our Constitution.

Reject socialism, promote capitalism

This election year we are seeing an alarming increase in the support of those who espouse Marxist socialist views. With the Left having taken over much of the educational system and with the dominant media being nothing more than propaganda outlets for the Left, it’s important to get the word out wherever possible that socialism is not an acceptable political system for the United States of America.

The concocted reality of the Leftists

The Left was up to their usual business of concocting a false reality last week after voters in the United Kingdom decided it was time to exit the European Union; something to the effect of stupid people not realizing that they need to give up their national sovereignty or the world will end.

Time to declare independence from liberalism

To today’s liberal leftists, equality means taking from those who have abundance and transferring it to those in lack. But it fails to factor in the economic consequences of this transfer of wealth. The abundance they are drawing from begins to shrink as economic development is stifled by government policies.

The 2nd Amendment Cure

We woke up Sunday morning to find out about a mass shooting by a radical Islamist terrorist in Orlando, Florida. And while cries for gun control started emanating immediately from President Obama and others, we need to realize that banning guns is not the solution to the problem, the use of guns is the solution.

President omits context in Hiroshima speech

As Barack Obama finishes out the last eight months of his second term as President, he has started working through his bucket list of things to do before he leaves office. This cringe-worthy endeavor has gotten off to a treason-worthy start with his trip to Vietnam highlighted by a photo op with a picture of Ho Chi Minh behind him.

The dissolution of representative government

A pattern is developing for the last eight months of the Obama administration. This push for unconstitutional mandates and agency directives, if not numerically the worst of any President ever, is in degree of extreme reach becoming the worst ever.

School bathroom directive unconstitutional

Under President Obama, America was placed on the fast track to "fundamental transformation," which is the process of our national heritage being eliminated, and the removal of every semblance of a traditional social order.

The process of government-mandated social change

There is a mythical process called trickle-down economics, which is actually a derogatory term for letting the job producers flourish. Real economic growth can only come from private enterprise capitalism, so the less taxation and regulation, the greater the economic growth.

Establishment Republicans lose either way

The established Republican Party leadership is more interested in preserving the Party than adhering to principles. So their overriding strategy is to simply keep their leadership in place, rather than lead it in a specific direction. As entrenched bureaucracies go, their goal becomes maintaining power for power's sake. Thus their disconnect with the Republican base.

Choosing delegates with citizen participation

One of the most pressing issues facing our nation - dealing with an out-of-control central government - has been essentially placed on hold during this election campaign. Traditionally a core issue in Republican politics, the candidates for Republican presidential nominee, particularly the final three, have had no opportunity to debate this issue.

Delegates matter

On April 16, Donald Trump was on Fox and Friends Saturday, apparently being given equal time for all the news about himself that morning. After running an advertising tease for over 3 hours, about him being live by telephone later on in the program to explain all the talk about him in the news, Donald Trump was given about 13 minutes to set everyone straight on his side of things, particularly his assertion that losing the delegate battle in Colorado was due to Cruz cheating and Republican dirty tricks.

Political piracy

Like a corporate raider, Trump is in it to see how many Republicans (shares) he can win over, then cash in on them with a victory for the party of Trump The Reform Party is alive and well...within the Republican Party! An act of piracy is in progress as populists are being raided by the Trump Jolly Rogers. Scoping out the possibilities of a presidential run as far back as 2010, Donald Trump began to marshall his forces for a run in the 2016 campaign.

Strong stand for Israel by Cruz and Trump

On Monday, March 21, both Donald Trump and Senator Ted Cruz spoke at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) Policy Conference, described on the AIPAC website as “the largest gathering of the pro-Israel movement.” Trump emphasized his deal-making skills while Cruz gave several examples of his leadership role in supporting Israel as a U.S. Senator.

Are we mad about crony capitalism?

“Crony capitalism is a description of capitalist society as being based on the close relationships between businessmen and the state. Instead of success being determined by a free market and the rule of law, the success of a business is dependent on the favoritism that is shown to it by the ruling government in the form of tax breaks, government grants and other incentives.”

Relegating Marxism to the dustbin of history

With Bernie Sanders running for President, Americans are being presented with a clear choice of a socialist for President. Barack Obama, also a socialist, got into office denying his socialist convictions, yet paved the way for an open socialist to run as a Democrat to replace him. As our educational institutions have steered away from teaching students the capitalist economics that made America great, we are seeing more people than ever before lured by the false promises of socialism and Marxism.

Conservatism cannot be hijacked

Neither conservatism not the Tea Party movement are going away. They haven't been hijacked, as some would say, by moderate (read liberal) Republicans or the Trumpists of 2016. While organizations may be taken over by people with a different set of principles than before, a set of principles cannot be hijacked. The principles of limited government with restrained spending and reining in of government agencies and their regulations are not going anywhere. Neither is the blueprint for proper governance, our Constitution.

States debate Article V convention

Article V of the U.S. Constitution states (my italics): “The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress…”

Time to delay on advise and consent

A method the Senate has for limiting the power of the Presidency, or preventing the Supreme Court from becoming an extension of the executive branch is not giving two-thirds consent of the Senate. The Constitutional basis for this is in Article II, Section 2 "...provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the Supreme Court..."
