Huhne: the final nail in the coffin of Cameron’s lousy Coalition?

By James Dellingpole, UK Telegraph Some things are beyond a joke and one of them is our energy secretary Chris Huhne “the Eco Loon”. Short of Osama Bin Laden as Minister of Transport, Caroline Lucas as Business Secretary, and Marcus Brigstocke as Minister for Comedy, it’s really quite hard to think of an appointment that could be less conducive to the welfare of Britain and her people.

Two Californias

By Victor Davis Hanson, National Review The last three weeks I have traveled about, taking the pulse of the more forgotten areas of central California. I wanted to witness, even if superficially, what is happening to a state that has the highest sales and income taxes, the most lavish entitlements, the near-worst public schools (based on federal test scores), and the largest number of illegal aliens in the nation, along with an overregulated private sector, a stagnant and shrinking manufacturing base, and an elite environmental ethos that restricts commerce and productivity without curbing consumption.

Welcome to the club Sweden

In the recent past, Swedes have added thousands of people from Muslim lands to their population with the usual entirely predictable results...there are no-go zones for police (self imposed Muslim ghettos where Islam reigns supreme and Sharia is rife), hatred, bigotry and violence toward Jews and Christians is a significant and growing phenomenon.

Cap & Trade (Trap & Pay)

Hello, as you will note I am not a writer nor a politician or some other crazy activists. I am just a normal citizen who happens to be a grand and great grand father exercising a voice of concern. I have written to other outlets concerning the, Cap & Trade bill to which I have labeled it, Trap & Pay. At my age I wouldn't expect to have this stupid idea to affect my status as much as it will the grand and great grand kids. While I cannot deny that some human activities may in some way be contributing to the so called global warming issue.

The ‘sacred cow’ of bilingualism

It's going on all over the country as they take more and more government jobs and funnel more and more money into metis-“french” speaking communities. These people are not to be trusted one bit. I see it in Ottawa all the time as they fill more and more jobs with frenchies who are NOT fluently bilingual. This is all part of the great phony bilingual scam. It has nothing to do with bilingualism.
