Before any significant investigation has been undertaken, the administration has stated that the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore was not an act of terror. They may be correct. It may be an act of war.
There are many reasons why the current administration may not wish to call it an act of war. They may not wish to alarm the populace. They may have no clear idea of who committed the act. They may know the source, but do not wish to name them.

I find it interesting that while israel, Russia, and a few other countries seem to be doing a good job protecting their own property, the USA is still vulnerable to problems and attacks. It seems our American infrastructure and borders have been allowed to die a slow and agonizing death, and this leaves our country quite vulnerable to attacks from outsiders. Look at our southern border. It's wide open to invasion from the Mexican side, and only Texas seems to be doing what it can to stop the invasion. Why are our military efforts still focused on making the USA a worldwide empire, rather than being used to protect our own defenses and our own borders? Why does the DC government not abide by our own Constitution? Why did an errant SCOTUS opinion allow only one dual national to work inside our state and federal governments? Why are we being systematically destroyed as a country?

My money is on Russia because of the mass terrorist act in Moscow that Putin blames Ukraine and the United States for. Russia is losing the war because of U.S. and European and NATO aid and Putin is threatening revenge for the Moscow attack. Putin threatens nuclear retaliation bu he knows that that will be his last act on earth. I just hope that the CIA is not involved in the Moscow shootings as Putin has accused the CIA as well as the UK being behind it.
