Most people of my generation (born in the 50s) are well aware that ex-vice president Al Gore is a walking joke with the functional intelligence of a slime mold. What is surprising is that in spite of this obvious handicap, Mr. Gore has managed to manipulate a significant portion of the world’s population into making him wealthy beyond the dreams of avarice.
