MONTGOMERY, AL - Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore testified in the Alabama Supreme Court today regarding the charges filed against him by the Judicial Inquiry Commission (JIC), which were initiated by the Southern Poverty Law Center. The charges all focused on his January 2016 Administrative Order in which he merely advised the probate judges that the case involving them was still pending before the Alabama Supreme Court. Liberty Counsel's Mat Staver and Horatio Mihet, along with Phillip Jauregui of the Judicial Action Group, represented the Chief Justice.
