The 2008 election was only about race for the Left. Obama’s ethnicity became one more tool in his arsenal with which to bludgeon the other side. Choosing the leader of the free world based on skin color is more absurd than going to your local car dealer and insisting on buying a blue car with no concern for mileage or mechanical condition. It’s preposterous and offensive for the media to tell us we elected Obama based exclusively on his blackness. Or more accurately, half blackness.
