WASHINGTON – The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) released today its Annual Energy Outlook for 2014. EIA’s analysis once again confirms that hydraulic fracturing and horizontal drilling are driving the boom in domestic oil and natural gas production. However, the report also demonstrates the negative impacts that government subsidies, mandates, and regulatory bias have had on energy markets.
