There was the Vatican defrocking of pro-life champion Fr. Frank Pavone, the defrocking of Fr. James Altman for his courageous witness for the Faith, the shocking and unjust removal of the exemplary Bishop Strickland of Tyler, Texas, and more recently the inhumane punishing of the meek and noble Cardinal Burke by evicting him and taking from him his salary.
Now Francis and his Vatican have targeted yet another holy prelate of the Church. According to InfoVaticana, a Spanish-language outlet in Spain, Bishop Nicolás Baisi of the Diocese of Puerto Iguazú in Argentina “has been notified by the Dicastery for Bishops that in December, he will receive a fraternal visit as a result of some news received by the Holy See questioning the pastoral governance of the diocese.”

Interesting. Those who were victimized by US priests in the last three decades realized they were not receiving settlements from dioceses which had declared bankruptcy, so they sought to sue the Holy See for not governing their bishops well. The Holy See did some nifty legal sidestepping, suggesting that bishops have autonomy over dioceses (they do to a certain extent) so to a certain essence the Vatican did not control bishops. They won.
And now Francis has fired Strickland. Wait. What? I thought they did not control bishops. What does that say to the previous lawsuit? It strikes me it may blow it out of the water.
Please, God, that during this turmoil faithful Catholics will hang onto the essentials: Sacraments, Sacred Scripture, and the Deposit of Faith with an eye to the Four Last Things. Viva Cristo Rey!

JESUS would say to these unjustly defrocked Priests to "COME OUT AMONG THEM" and follow the TRUE SON OF GOD, who died for you so you COULD share the truth, even though this current Pope couldn't see the TRUTH if it smacked him in the face.

And it goes on and on the destruction of the Church that Frankie has been doing from the first noe he is speeding it up .Who knows what will happen when he kicks the bucket. He may have enough of his like thinkers in power that this rot from with in will continue .

Ben, it might seem that way, given the number of cardinals he has appointed, but some Vatican insiders are suggesting that these last five years in the Church have been so chaotic, divisive, and confusing that the pendulum may swing back and we will see someone in a very different mold. Let us hope and pray.
