Benjamin Franklin said that only a "virtuous people are capable of freedom." Franklin understood the importance of a moral society, and how secularism may seem free on the surface, but that a society that abandons the Laws of Nature by Nature's God ultimately leads themselves to bondage, under human masters and tyrannical statism.
