What a strange era we live in.
Today I find myself quoting the work of likely Trotskyist Glenn Greenwald in which he defends President-elect Donald Trump out of a sense of fair play. Greenwald is no friend of the Democratic Party; it’s not left-wing enough for him.
His piece in the Intercept, “The Deep State Goes to War with President-Elect, Using Unverified Claims, as Democrats Cheer,” is essential reading despite its Noam Chomsky-like feel.
There is a “faction that is now engaged in open warfare against the duly elected and already widely disliked president-elect, Donald Trump. They are using classic Cold War dirty tactics and the defining ingredients of what has until recently been denounced as ‘Fake News.’”The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
Big Tech and Big Media are gunning for the Conservative Voice—through their Comment Sections.
