The picture of the tiny lifeless body of toddler Alan Kurdi, washed up on a Turkish beach, cradled by the policeman who found him, broke the world’s heart and remains as the defining moment of the worst refugee crisis since World War II.
That the Canadian New Democrat Party (NDP) would seize upon the picture in blaming the toddler’s death on the Canadian government, all to propel their leader Thomas Mulcair as the country’s next prime minister is a true story of the outrageous exploitation of the death of an innocent 3-year-old child. The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
