Washington, D.C.-Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), Ranking Member on the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, today welcomed an agreement from Senator Boxer (D-CA.), Chairman of the EPW Committee, to hold hearings in June on the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) clean air regulations. In a letter sent this afternoon, Senator Inhofe thanked Chairman Boxer for her commitment and asked that these hearings specifically address the most onerous air regulations planned by the Obama EPA, which are commonly known as the "EPA train wreck." Since the 112th Congress commenced, the EPW Committee has yet to hold an oversight hearing on these forthcoming rules.
