A total solar eclipse will occur on April 8 and will 1 pass directly over six U.S. towns called Nineveh and over a town called Jonah, the prophet who warned of Nineveh's destruction. All of this will take place under the constellation Cetus or “The Whale,” alluding to the whale that swallowed Jonah.

The fact that there was also a 4.8 earthquake in N.J. yesterday makes me wonder.

Do what Jesus said to do here: .... John 3: 3, 16
John 3:3
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
King James Version (KJV)
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
King James Version (KJV)

To answer the headline question: No.
Eclipses are like your clock only on a solar/planetary scale. They are the result of the rotation of the earth and the moon around the sun. They are predicted with good accuracy and if the Lord tarries we will see other eclipses just like this one.
If you want a sign of the times try this one: "As it was in the days of Noah . . . ."

Yes Grant, totally true. Jesus was speaking to the Jewish people of His time and thus they understood Jesus as speaking of the '7 year Tribulation period or the Time of Jacob's trouble. (not the rapture which was a mystery until revealed by Jesus at the Last Supper in John 14).
