"As a symbol of California's commitment to the environment and combatting climate change, the Department of General Services (DGS), in cooperation with the Joint Rules Committee, will turn off the State Capitol dome lights for one hour (from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.) this Saturday, March 25th, to observe Earth Hour."
We're going to turn the dome lights off, but leave all the internal ones on. That makes sense...

And Jerry Brown "is mulling ways to prevent the end of the world," according to the SacBee. "I think the world is getting closer to the brink of destruction," Gov. Brown said. "It's bad. And there is goofing off on a bunch of sidebar activity, in my opinion.
