Well, here comes another tempest the National Football League can ill afford.
Running back Marshawn Lynch, playing for the Oakland Raiders in a game against the New England Patriots in Mexico City, sat during the playing of “The Star Spangled Banner” but stood up during the Mexican anthem.
On cue, that brought a tweet from you-know-who:
Marshawn Lynch of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders stands for the Mexican Anthem and sits down to boos for our National Anthem. Great disrespect! Next time NFL should suspend him for remainder of season. Attendance and ratings way down.
