Nuclear On The Rise

Two recent headlines:

• Kristen Walker, "The US must take note: Sweden backpedals on renewable energy. Sweden is going nuclear," realclearenergy.org, July 6, 2023

As Michael Shellenberger pointed out in his book "Apocalypse Never", nuclear is by far the cleanest and cheapest way to go to produce electricity. he also mentions that the reason nukes were made into the boogyman was the natural gas companies - they "donated" hundreds of millions of dollars to Sierra Club and 360.org - purportedly environmentally oriented outfits - because gas companies wanted more solar and wind powered plants. Seems those use lots of natural gas, whereas of course nuclear plants use none. So behind the scenes it was a money grubbing competition killing plan, and well meaning people who like cuddly panda bears were essentially duped.

Meanwhile, a virtually unspoken nuclear disaster that happened in Southern California (Santa Susana - just north of Los Angeles) - have a read:

I just hope that the sodiam cooled units they are planningon putting up will use tech that solves the things that led to that disaster...

Is common sense on the rise finally. Like the already made "vaccines" that do not work but they need their money back for them, they will continue to push their "supposed green agenda" till they can't make us pay for their forcibly talked up but not "green" expensive products but we need to pay them for.
