CLEVELAND, Tenn., -- Serving the victims of Superstorm Sandy, Operation Compassion is delivering critical assistance to 6 states and 19 disaster sites. While the weather phenomenon was developing and news reports forecast the ominous potential of Hurricane Sandy, Operation Compassion began to pre-stage a response gathering resources and making calls. Within 24 hours of landfall, semi-truckloads were on their way carrying food and aid to the Northeastern United States.
