Superhero Kevin Vickers: a role model for protecting war dead against protesters
Leave it to the squawking lib-left media to descend like the proverbial ton of bricks on 59-year-old Kevin Vickers’ heroic act all because he grabbed and dragged a protester away from the podium at a ceremony set aside to honour British soldiers killed putting down the 1916 Easter Rising of Irish nationalists against British rule.
It is the custom for citizens worldwide to be able to honour their war dead without the unwanted , disrespectful interference of protesters.
Vickers, now Canada’s Ambassador to Ireland, was the former Common’s sergeant-at-arms, celebrated world wide as a hero after he shot and killed armed Montreal mosque goer Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, who had minutes earlier shot honorary guard Cpl. Nathan Cirillo to death at Canada’s National War Memorial, on Oct. 22, 2014.
