In what is rapidly becoming the distant past, teachers unions used to be pro student. That outlook, as well as so many other sacredly held beliefs, are almost out of sight in society’s rear-view mirror. Teachers unions now are all about power and control. Infiltrated by the left, they will take no prisoners in their attempt to suffocate innocence, promote perversion, and fuel division. Since children have become their prey, parents have become their enemy. They will do anything necessary to divide and destroy the bond between child and parent.

Public education is to serve the public; and our public is a collection of past, present and future parents. Parents are the only real party in interest. The teachers are not separate parties in interest. The teacher's union is a corporate outsider to the purpose of education, and should be dismantled if it interferes with the education of our next generation.

I daresay teachers' unions have been cesspools of self interested scum for quite a while now...I recall in Los Angeles a case where a 4th grade teacher was discovered to be feeding his own semen (no lie) on Ritz crackers to his students - when found out the union was steadfastly silent on the situation. This is the same goon squad who was happy to call for a strike if the school board started to consider extending the school year by a few days. Disgusting does not go far enough to describe them.
