It didn’t take the Women’s March Youth EMPOWER—an offshoot of Women’s March, which “upholds the unity principles of the Women’s March platform” to go rushing in on the exploitation of the mass murder at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
In fact it took them less than 24 hours to begin recruiting school children for a nationwide school walk-out, some of those children still grieving the deaths of their Marjory Stoneman Douglas classmates.
According to their website, “Women’s March EMPOWER is an initiative of Women’s March Youth through a coalition with Peace First, Rise To Run, Teen Vogue, The Justice League NYC, The Gathering For Justice, and Rock The Vote.
