The "Grinch" Is Trying to Steal Easter Eggs

WASHINGTON, DC - Many of the top candy makers have scrubbed the word "Easter" from their advertising and packaging. Hershey's, M&M's, Lindor, Russell Stover, Dove, Rolo, and Twix have all produced Easter themed candy without mentioning the word on the front of their candy. Cadbury was quick to point out somewhere in the fine print on the back of the candy there is the word "Easter." However, Cadbury is already on the bottom of a fur-flying kerfuffle in England for changing the name of a nationwide Easter egg hunt from the "Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt" to just the "Cadbury Egg Hunt." This change invited the scorn of the nation's Prime Minister. "Just as companies were trying to profit from Christmas while ignoring the reason for the celebration, now companies are targeting the Christian aspects of Easter and removing them.
