Hey John Burtis. I liked your article very much. CFP has for many years been my favorite news analysis. ( I’m 86 ) I think you’re spot on, especially with that corrupt despot Barack Insane Obama. I feel he’s the Devil in our country.

I am at a loss in trying to explain Obama’s election. Sure, we can blame a media steeped in the praising of socialist and communist ideals and hence - Obama.
But this is America and, as they say, there were signs.
I’m a retired cop who was pronounced dead following my being dragged down Wilshire Boulevard for eleven blocks and falling from the vehicle at 55 mph, breaking my neck and presenting me with amnesia and aphasia. Who dragged me? A spoiled liberal resident of Malibu operated that vehicle and took me on the death ride. She would later have her sentenced reduced and then expunged so she could become a school bus driver in San Diego.
In my estimation white guilt, the reduction of the Constitutionally protected press to mere left wing cheerleaders and, perhaps, another look into the voting machines would be warranted for Obama’s election.
However you cut it, the new Democrat Party has turned its back on their former constituencies and are now supported by illegal aliens, the dead, where 86% vote Democrat and the criminal element. They all voted for Obama. I have never met anyone who admits to pulling the lever for Barry Soetero, just as no one can be found who ever remembers Obama in his higher education studies.
