Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is quite comfortable pandering for votes, regardless of the facts. At a recent Democrat presidential debate, Sanders made the outlandish claim that “when you’re white, you don’t know what it’s like to be living in a ghetto; you don’t know what it’s like to be poor.”
This is incredibly ironic because Sanders, a committed socialist, was relatively poor until the age of 40. He was never able to earn an adequate living until he started in politics. Before he entered elective office, Sanders engaged in carpentry and other odd jobs, drove an old Volkswagen Beetle and lived on public assistance.The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
