Rabid dogs must be killed, as rapidly as possible. The diseased in the world that kills, maims, rapes and tortures must be eradicated with no short measures being acceptable.
The brutal death of Lt. Muath al-Kaseasbeh, the Jordanian Air Force pilot whose aircraft was recently downed resulting in his capture by members of ISIS (or according to the Obama administration, ISIL) was simply videotaped horror. Even more than horror, it was an exercise in intimidation which was an attempt to cow those who might oppose the goals of Islamic State.
