Whether microscopic or all-encompassing, mute constituencies make the best causes and the best weapons. Perhaps you’ve heard of some of them. There are the whales, there’s the snail darter, there are the homeless, there are the stray dogs, there are the stray cats. There are the monarch butterflies, there are microorganisms in the soil, there are various pests, and there are the anonymous starving masses of the world. There are people whose slavery ended 150 years ago.

Nice analogy going from the polar bears to the lobsters and steaks. It is truly hypocritical of humans to protect one animal while is is slaughtering others. What is good for me is not good for thee.
Cutting down trees because you are ranting about carbon dioxide is the dumbest thing I ever heard of. These people think they are smarter than the rest of us because they have their cause, and we are just taking the earth for granted. Yes, like the trees God gave us and the cycle of life. Trees to fill our lungs with oxygen because God in His great wisdom made it right the first time!
I just read an article today that talked about rich people with hot tubs. They will either put in solar panels or they will pay extra money for the environment they are destroying. Oh, yes...money will solve the environmental problems. HYPOCRITES!
