As the entire world knows by now, the Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, prime minister of Canada, heaped praise on the late Fidel Castro, dictator of Cuba. In a release shortly after Castro’s death, Trudeau described the brutal dictator as the “longest serving president” who was dedicated to and loved the Cuban people.
Offering his condolences to the vicious thug was bad enough but Trudeau expressed his sorrow not only on behalf of himself and his wife but “on behalf of all Canadians.” To right-thinking Canadians who abhor Cuba’s brutal regime, this was the most outrageous part of his statement praising the dead dictator.
