It was doleful weather when so few of us went to pray the Stations of the Cross at the churches in this area on Good Friday. All statues were draped in purple. The quiet of the church underlined that this was the day our Savior would die on the Cross.
There were few signs anywhere in the mainstream media that it was Good Friday , and worse settling back to work, signs were everywhere that the catfight was going to rage on between Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. It may have been Good Friday for some, but it was Good Fighting Day for others. The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
