Here is one of many problems--and in my view the MOST DANGEROUS problem--with the liberal position of banning "assault weapons" after the Orlando shooting:
Guns are tools, and nothing more. They can be tools used for good or tools used for evil. The same can be said of any tool. A hammer is a tool designed to hit things. It can hit a nail (a good use) or a person's head (an evil use). A box cutter is a tool. It can cut boxes apart (a good use), or cut a person (an evil use). A gun is a tool. It can shoot targets or game animals or violent criminals (a good use) or an innocent person (an evil use).The Comment section of online publications is the new front in the ongoing Cancel Culture Battle.
Big Tech and Big Media are gunning for the Conservative Voice—through their Comment Sections.
