Why should the federal government dictate how land is used in Florida, or in Utah, or any other state? In the first place, land should be managed by the owner. In a free society, property – especially land – is an extension of the person who owns it. In order to acquire the property, the owner had to invest his time and effort or receive the property as a gift from another. In any event, property is a part of the owner.
