MERIDIAN, Idaho, -- In a fund raising email sent by Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and Hawaiian Islands, Planned Parenthood spread malicious lies about a "Worship for Life" event sponsored by Stanton Healthcare.

The prayer gathering featured prayer and sharing from local pastors, music from church worship bands, and times of worship and prayer each day at 9:00 A.M., 12:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. all under a tent. In their email, Planned Parenthood wrote;
"A mob of protesters are gathered outside of our health center in Meridian, Idaho ... "They are there to harass, intimidate, and shame people...

"...they've traded in their picket signs for tents, and they are camping out in our parking lot."
These statements are lies. Stanton Healthcare has contacted their attorneys to see what legal steps will be taken against Planned Parenthood and have also forwarded the email and talked with Meridian City officials.
Stanton Healthcare tried to meet with Planned Parenthood officials before the "Worship for Life" event but they refused. Stanton Healthcare will hold a news conference at 6:45 P.M. on Thursday evening to discuss the attack against them and also allow the media to see the "Worship for Life 2015" tent and event.

Brandi Swindell, Founder and CEO of Stanton Healthcare, states;
"It is deeply disturbing and troubling that Planned Parenthood would attack and attempt to raise funds off a peaceful prayer and worship event sponsored by a life-affirming women's clinic. First, they make money through the selling of aborted baby parts, now they are looking to make money by defaming Christians gathering together to worship and praise God. "Everything they said about our event in the email is a lie. We were not in the parking lot of Planned Parenthood but rather on our property under a tent. We were not a "mob" but peaceful and prayerful Christians gathering to worship God. We never talked to any of the clients going into Planned Parenthood and they couldn't even see us under the professional style canopy tent. No one was 'camping' in their parking lot and the list goes on. "In planning this event, we met with local city and police officials and even tried to meet with Planned Parenthood to ensure a positive event. Sadly, Planned Parenthood officials refused to meet with us. "We have contacted our legal team to see what steps will be taken next and have also spoken and shared the email with Meridian City officials. Our hope and prayer will be that Planned Parenthood stops all their lies and attacks and treats women and their children with dignity and respect."
