The real reason why progressives are out for Donald Trump’s hide

Republican frontrunner Donald Trump is an embarrassment, an embarrassment not for what he’s saying about putting a temporary moratorium on open Muslim immigration until the administration can explore all avenues of security, but because what Republicans and Democrats are not doing to tighten up national security. Reality check of the day: Where is the outrage from most of those holding office in Congress and Senate that the first administration acknowledgedterrorist attack on American soil since 9/11 took place in San Bernardino, California, claiming 14 lives and injuring 21 more on December 2 while thousands of unvetted “refugees” are still getting through over porous American borders?

The dilemma brings no impassioned demands from elected officials for erstwhile solutions, but only the familiar sound of crickets. America has been left vulnerable to a clear and present danger, one that’s left the sometimes bumptious and always outspoken Donald Trump as the targeted scapegoat, all for suggesting a moratorium on immigration until the politicians holding down the fort know which way to go. Incredibly, with a media frenzy accompanying cowardly irresponsible politicians of the day, it is ‘The Donald’ and not America’s national security that has become the Big Issue of the day. With a president in the Oval Office deliberately (and getting away with) removing all working parts of America as if the nation is his own personal toy, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest has the temerity to suggest that Trump is “unfit” to be president! “Unfit” is the one adjective that fits his boss to a ‘T’. It’s outrageous to see how Earnest qualifies Trump’s supposedly state of “unfit”:

(Business Insider, Dec. 8, 2015) The first thing Obama did after landing in the Oval Office was to perform his infamous bow to Saudi King Abdullah, on April 1, 2009 in London. “It’s not clear what was more disturbing, Obama’s bow or the subsequent attempt by the White House to deny that he was bowing.” (White House Dossier, June 20, 2012) Obama’s bowing and scraping to the House of Saud was soon followed by myriad trips abroad where he lobbed insults about all things American back America’s way while conveniently and safely on foreign soil. “Swearing an oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States”? All lost on your hero Obama, Josh not-so Earnest. In his unabashed attempt to derail The Donald, Earnest may not realize he’s underlined an irony of substance. Trump is being dumped into the “unfit” dust bin as he runs for Republican nomination for the 2016 presidential race. Obama has already proven “unfit” in his abysmal failure to protect citizens from terrorism while holding the office of president. While Trump is being smeared as a “bigot” and compared to Adolph Hitler, Republicans and Democrats are out there hiding under mushroom caps in the Big Fairytale Forest, smugly convinced they are safe from public blowback. Many now see them as part of a system led by a Commander in Chief who refuses to call the enemy by its own self-professed name “Islamic terrorism”; the same system that keeps a mainstream media in check by their constant referrals to the terrorists as “extremists” and “militants” and deliverers of “workplace violence”. Interesting that a vote in the House yesterday passed a bill 407-to-19 legislating that potential immigrants in some 38 nations, who currently are not required to have a visa to travel to the United States, can no longer use the visa waiver program if they have recently traveled to nations that are considered to be "terror hotspots”. In other words from nations like Iraq, Iran, Syria and Sudan. Some of all of the Republicans and the 165 House Democrats who voted the bill in, are the same ones openly scapegoating Trump for suggesting a similar policy. Progressives at work are never up to any good for We the People. No, the Republicans and Democrats going after Trump’s fast-moving hide, are not going after him because he’s a Hitler-like bigot seeking protection for Americans from an Islamic terrorism they refuse to identify. They’re out to take down Donald Trump because he’s showing them up for what they really are: overpaid hypocrites holding public office. Now that you’ve rightfully left them in a state of humiliation, watch your back, Mr. T, the progressives have drawn a big red circle on it.
