From ISIS Lips to Obama Ears?

Television’s prominent talking heads commenting on President Barack Obama’s State of the Union Address last night, spoke of how Obama was “completely disconnected from reality” on foreign policy. “Charles Krauthammer seemed to have been left in disbelief: “He is talking about a world that really doesn’t exist,” he said. “And that’s why I think it completely diminished what he said on foreign policy.” (The Blaze, Jan. 12, 2016)

Obama broad-stroked those who worry about ISIS on the rampage as conspiracy theorists, calling their claims that this is heading for World War III as “over-the-top”. Instead Obama is portraying those woefully misunderstood ISIS terrorists as pajama-clad louts and layabouts plotting their next jihad hit in their mother’s basements. No mention, of course, about a cell being a cell whether it happens to be in Mama’s basement or elsewhere, or that some jihadists are in those cells having made their way into America posing as helpless “refugees”. This is how Obama identifies the terrorists of ISIS:

“Masses of fighters on the back of pickup trucks and twisted souls plotting in apartments or garages pose an enormous danger to civilians and must be stopped, but they do not threaten our national existence. That’s the story ISIL wants to tell. That’s the kind of propaganda they use to recruit.”

Could how Obama described ISIL at SOTU last night be the kind of propaganda he is using to put us to sleep?

What if the talking heads the masses rely on for what is happening got it wrong? What if Obama’s conviction about “ISIL” not being a threat to our national existence came directly from ISIL lips to Obama ears? Talking heads should be wondering, did ISIS clue Obama in on their future plans? Did the Islamic terrorists tell him, for example, that aside from the odd so-called lone wolf terrorist attack there would be no 9/11 redux until after the next election? In that turn of events, Obama could easily skirt accusations of Islamic sympathy; would continue to be of value to the enemy as Secretary General of the United Nations, and Donald Trump or Ted Cruz blamed for the next major terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Obama seems brim-full of conceited confidence about Islamic terrorism not plunging the western world into World War III--at least for the present time. How would he possibly know that? Do any of us really know when and where the next Islamic terrorist attack will strike innocent civilians at work or play? The reality is we won’t know until it happens. Obama used last night’s SOTU address to dispatch the message: “Move along, folks, nothing to see here.” Meanwhile, the “there’s-no-such-thing-as-Islamic-terrorism” architect smears all who worry about rampant ISIS terrorism bringing on World War III as “over-the-top” conspiracy theorists. This is the take from the biggest conspirator in American history, the one who for seven long years has spitefully pushed his obscene and obsessive Fundamental Transformation of America on an unwilling Western society.
