In 2013, President Obama asked God to bless Planned Parenthood during his speech at one of their events. He said, “As long as we’ve got to fight to make sure women have access to quality, affordable health care, and as long as we’ve got to fight to protect a woman’s right to make her own choices about her own health, I want you to know that you’ve also got a president who’s going to be right there with you, fighting every step of the way,” said Obama. “Thank you, Planned Parenthood. God bless you.”
This statement was disheartening for pro-lifers because Planned Parenthood is the country’s largest abortion business, performing one-third of U.S. abortions. According to their most recent annual report, in 2013 they performed 327,653 abortions and received over a half-billion dollars in taxpayer funding. Additionally, the abortion giant has a history of aiding child predators by performing abortions on underage girls and committing fraud by using Medicaid funding for abortions.
However, now we know about another side of their scandalous business and it’s hard to imagine that God would have anything to do with it.
