Chelsea says she won't run for President in 2020 - Real news is someone thought the question was worth asking

Make no mistake. The old, liberal, mainstream media views the loss of Hillary Clinton as a personal failure. They did their best to prop up their hero - worst presidential candidate in modern history - and their best wasn't good enough. Not only did Hillary lose, she lost to a man they consider to be a boorish joke. Their normally stratospheric levels of liberal guilt have rocketed into the cosmos, and they're searching desperately for a way to reassure their masters that they really are good little lapdogs. Apparently, they've decided that Chelsea Clinton is their ticket to redemption.
Why? I have no idea. If there's one person among the political elite who's even less exciting than Hillary, it has to be Chelsea. No sane person thinks she will be anything more than a historical footnote. Yet, for whatever reason, they're clearly trying to make Chelsea Clinton into the next big thing. It won't work - ever. For the moment, it seems even Chelsea understands this, but there's something telling in her remarks. Asked if she would run for office, Chelsea admitted the following: "I'm definitely not the right person to defeat him [Trump] in 2020. So, right now, the answer is no." It's worth noting that she's not asked about running for President. They just ask her about running for office. In true Clinton form, she immediately jumps to the idea of the presidency, but no one else ever mentions it. Clearly, the idea has been planted.... Dear Dems, here's some honest advice: We know you're desperate and we know your bench is painfully shallow. This is not the answer. Look elsewhere.
