“For Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama it’s a learned - they don’t love that part of it. They certainly like competing, but they don’t love that part of it. So they’ve bonded over that part of it in ways that the intrusiveness that politics has made to them intellectually, personally. So that’s where I say that they have bonded.”Todd neglects to mention that the more genuine you are, the easier it all becomes. That may sound like an odd comment to make about someone like Bill Clinton, whose lies are so famous, but think of it this way: Bill may have committed perjury, but he never had to hide his ideological soul the way Obama and Hillary do. Obama and Hillary exist as politicians precisely because they've been able to completely obfuscate the sacred cows of their agenda. If they ever announced their true goals, they'd be instantly finished. When you have to hide virtually everything you really wish you could do for to the country, it becomes that much harder to glad hand. Moreover, if Hillary and Obama despise the "political part of politics" it's only because they resent having to do it. Both of them have given us ample opportunity to observe the fact that they hold those who question their plans in the deepest of disdain. "Politics" exposes them to the reality that there are those who would dare question their unassailable brilliance, and they can't stand it. So remember, if you're looking at 2016 and thinking "A vote for Hillary will take me back to 1992," you can forget it. It will only drag you back to 2008.
