Clinton campaign confirms: Bernie's going to kiss Hillary's ring tomorrow

Technically, Bernie Sanders is still running for President. You wouldn't know it, because his White House bid imploded a couple of months ago, but it's true. Oh sure, he's already said he'll vote for Hillary in November, but he hasn't officially endorsed her or 'suspended' his doomed-from-day-one campaign. Well, get ready to "feel the Bern," Sanders fans. According to the Clinton campaign, your dreams die tomorrow. Last week's rumor has become this week's reality. Tuesday afternoon in New Hampshire, Bernie will kneel before his superior and kiss the queen's ring with a glowing endorsement.
As the AP reports:
Hillary Clinton’s campaign is making it official: Former Democratic rival Bernie Sanders will join her at a New Hampshire event on Tuesday where he plans to endorse her. Clinton’s campaign is holding the event at a high school in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Sanders defeated Clinton by a wide margin in New Hampshire, in the nation’s first primary. Sanders’ endorsement will come a month after the final primary. He’s pushed for policy agreements on higher education, health care and a $15 an hour federal minimum wage. Some of those policies were included in a draft of the party’s platform in Orlando, Florida, over the weekend.

Basically, Bernie got a few promises from the DNC about putting his demands in the party platform (something both parties regularly ignore) and that was enough to make him roll over and play nice. Tomorrow, in a spectacle every bit as exciting as watching an apple turn brown, an elderly white male socialist will endorse an elderly white female socialist. That should make for riveting television. The only question now is: How long will it take Sanders supporters to admit that their allegedly rock-solid principles are just as disposable as Bernie's? After all, birds of a feather...
