image- Rebecca Gingrich Mr Harper, Mr. MacKenzie, Mr. MacKay, Mr. Blackburn--The issue has finally arrived that will unite all Canadians behind a great Canadian who stands for what is right. Col Stogran has shown courage and justice when fighting for our Veterans. What a sad commentary that a man who has fought for Canada now has to fight against those that are supposedly governing us.

Our children have been used as cannon fodder with great spin, and then are cast aside when they need the country. Col Stogran is their defence against those who are supposed to be helping them but don't appear to have any concern for the well being of those that have been to war. We read about homeless Veterans, Veterans with emotional symptoms, legless Veterans that have to fight in Court for their pensions, Veterans that were poisoned by government sanctioned spraying of Agent Orange, etc. and yet you all wax eloquent about Canada's treatment of Veterans? What planet are you from? Reality bites, but you seem to be immune. Well, this is war! We will all fight for what is right. There is no justification for the treatment our Veterans have received under all governments. Oh, I know, the bureaucrats are being blamed, but it is the government that is elected and it is the government that we expect, no demand, serve the people. Thank God that a man of Col Stogran's courage has appeared on the scene. Sadly, our politicians believe they are gods and see no reason to do their job other than to make sure they are entitled to their entitlements. Sadly, our Veterans, who have served Canada under the direction of government, are not entitled to anything other than the least they can be given. Perhaps it is time we repeat history and make the 'kings' of the country lead the troops into battle? I imagine things would be much different if those directing the wars from a safe seat in Ottawa would see things much differently if they were under the gun on the battlefield?
