I'm from Ottawa but work and live in Thailand. The majority of Thai's were embarrassed by this past week's antics by those seeking to overthrow the Thai Prime Minister. The protesters goal was to remove the prime minister with strong-arm tactics (taking over airports).

I'd have to say that I'm far more dumbfounded and embarrased by what is happening today as I watch Question period. At least the protesters in Thailand did what they did to protest corruption and vote buying. Here in Canada, it seems to be over a simple disagreement of philosophy and difference in approach to the economic situation. As a person who has lived abroad for some years, watching the whole Canadian electoral process this round, debates and all, reminded me watching a bunch whining, self-centered children picking a fight to the point of non sense. Well, I'm soon off on a plane back to the land of policital coup's (Thailand) Good luck with yours Canada, I'm hoping for the best! Allan
