Trust an engineer with a nose for business. I have a passing interest in NASCAR and I was looking into teams, race drivers and team histories when I stumbled upon Gene Haas of Gene Haas Tony Stewart Racing.

Gene Haas is an amazing man. With the turn of phrase that the cars are flying around the track, With Gene Hass, they just might be. On his website Geenhaas.com, you will find out about Haas Automation, Inc., one of the most modern machine tool manufacturing operations in the United States. That's right manufacturing right here in the good old U.S. of A. Haas products are sold through a worldwide network of more than 170 Haas Factory Outlets–in more than 80 countries–that provide the industry’s best support and service. Major customers include Caterpillar, Chrysler, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, John Deere and Rockwell Automation. What equally shocked me about Mr. Haas, was his charity work and philanthropic efforts. Gene established in 1999 the Gene Haas Foundation. To date the foundation has awarded over 8.5 million dollars to over 800 organizations. Including the likes of the Boy Scouts of America, National MS Society, and the National Police Dog Foundation. As co-owner of the successful Stewart-Haas Racing team, Gene Haas also extends his humanitarian efforts into the world of NASCAR. It appears that Gene Haas is a triple winner. In business, on the circuit and through his charitable. Gene is a proven winner.
