'Good guy with gun' who stopped Crossroads Mall terrorist is NRA-certified firearms instructor

If there's one thing the left has taught us, it's that the NRA is an evil organization that panders to gun nuts, craves violence, wants children to die, and works for the destruction of all that is good and decent in America. While they like claim otherwise, people with guns never stop mass-casualty attacks, guns are pretty much never used in self-defense, and carrying one in public is a recipe for disaster. If there are two things the left has taught us, it's that the NRA is evil - and cops are just as bad. After all, we spent the last year being inundated with stories about how cops are really just a gang of out-of-control racists who desire nothing more than to shoot black people. That line of thinking has been prevalent in everything from politics, to entertainment, to sports, and it only seems to be gathering steam.
So it must be horrible for progressives to learn that the Crossroads Mall terrorist was brought down by a "good guy with a gun" who just so happens to be a certified NRA firearms instructor AND a part-time cop. From Bearing Arms:
USPSA Shooter, 3-Gunner, and NRA-certified firearms instructor Jason Falconer has been identified as the man who shot and killed a 22-year-old Somali immigrant who went on a stabbing rampage inside a St. Cloud, (MN) Mall on Saturday. The apparent terrorist—who apparently asked victims if they were Muslims before stabbing them—was engaged by Falconer inside the mall. Falconer is the president and owner of Tactical Advantage LLC, a shooting range and tactical training facility with a strong focus on arming concealed carriers. He’s also a former chief of the Albany (MN) police department, and he remains a part-time officer. But Falconer has consistently been identified in the mainstream media only as a “former police chief” and “off-duty police officer.”

Obviously, they want to focus on the "officer" section of Falconer's bio because it's the least damaging to their narrative. The left may portray law enforcement as horrible monsters but, at the end of the day, they know police are necessary. It makes no sense, but they'll lean on his police training as a way to suggest he's one of the people who should "be allowed" to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights, while they simultaneously continue to besmirch the reputations of cops all over the country. The rest of the items on the list - the NRA, concealed carry, and training facilities like Tactical Advantage - fly directly in the face of their goals. They're all things that we know Hillary would like to dismantle if she's elected, so they're ignored. The NRA must be vilified, ditto for concealed carriers. Facts be damned. Democrats and their media allies must protect agenda at all costs.
